About the practice
About Elevation Sales Advisory
A Wellington-based advisory practice focused on sales process consulting for B2B firms that sell through longer cycles.
Why we exist
Elevation Sales Advisory started after years of watching capable B2B sellers lose time to unclear stages. Forecast meetings filled with invented labels. Proposals written before buyers confirmed the problem. Handoffs to delivery that omitted the commitments made late in negotiation. We formed the practice to do one job well: help commercial teams agree how work moves through their sales process.
Origin in Wellington
The practice is based at Level 8, 100 Lambton Quay, Wellington 6011. New Zealand’s mix of exporters, professional firms, and specialised manufacturers means many sales motions are relationship-heavy and technically detailed. That context shaped our preference for paper-first stage maps and interviews over slide decks full of borrowed frameworks.
How we work
- Listen before redesigning — we sample live deals and hear how sellers actually advance opportunities.
- Name things plainly — stage language must be usable in a Tuesday morning meeting.
- Leave artefacts — process packs, playbooks, and meeting agendas stay with the client.
- Respect the craft — we do not replace managers; we give them a clearer room to lead.
People
Engagements are led by principals who have managed B2B teams in industrial supply, professional services, and capital equipment sales. Associates support interview rounds and document drafting. We introduce the named lead during the first briefing so you know who will facilitate your workshops.
Values in practice
We decline work that asks us to install pressure tactics or inflate forecasts for board theatre. We prefer clients who want their process to match how buyers in their industry actually decide.
